A Different Kind of Hiring Partner
Hi, I’m Nicki, founder of NHR Resourcing.
I work with SMEs and independent HR consultants to improve hiring from role design through to onboarding, combining hands-on delivery with the advisory support that often needs to happen first.
That might mean helping define a role more clearly, benchmarking salary, shaping the hiring process or managing delivery through to offer. In some cases, it’s end-to-end support. In others, it’s stepping in where extra clarity or capacity is needed most.
What Makes Me Different?
I’m not a traditional recruiter, and that’s intentional.
I can run recruitment campaigns, and often do, but that’s only part of what I offer. I also help clients get the foundations right first, making sure the role, scope, salary and hiring approach are thought through properly before time and money are lost in the market.
Experience that's practical
Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked across a wide range of sectors including utilities, retail, charity, logistics, leisure, professional services, manufacturing and aerospace. That breadth of experience means I’m comfortable stepping into different environments, understanding what matters quickly and adapting support to fit.
Beyond Work
Outside work, life is shared with my husband and our two mischievous cats. Our home is usually filled with music, mostly heavy metal, and we love getting to gigs when we can.
We also love travelling. Canada has a special place in our hearts, and we’re always drawn back to its mountain landscapes. We were also lucky enough to visit Alaska for the first time in 2023, which was pretty unforgettable.
We’re just as happy exploring the Greek islands or the Algarve too. For us, travel is less about sitting still and more about scenery, history, local culture and good food.
