Hi, I’m Nicki, founder of NHR Resourcing. With 20yrs experience in recruitment, I’ve worked across industries like utilities, retail, charity, logistics, leisure, professional services, manufacturing and even aerospace!

I don’t operate like a recruitment agency - and that’s intentional. No commission-based placements, no quick fixes. Instead, I collaborate with businesses and independent HR consultants to create structured, sustainable hiring processes that deliver results long after we work together.

Outside of work I share my life with my husband and our two mischievous cats. Our home is constantly filled with music – mostly heavy metal - and we love going to gigs when we can.

But our true passion is travel.

Canada holds a special place in our hearts, and we’ve visited several times, always drawn back by its breathtaking mountain landscapes.

In 2023 we were lucky enough to visit Alaska for the first time - and it was truly amazing.

Inspired by Culture

We also love the Greek islands and The Algarve. The laid-back lifestyle, warm hospitality, and calm, unhurried pace of life resonate with us – not to mention the stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters!

We’re not the type to lounge on a sunbed all day, though. For us, travel is about immersing ourselves in local culture, exploring historic sites, and experiencing the essence of each place we visit. A big part of that is food and, while we wouldn’t call ourselves ‘foodies’, we’ll try anything once and love discovering new flavours and embracing different culinary experiences.
